Learning a lot about how to handle delegation and keeping people productive. Very tiring, hope I get my groove soon.
Columbia, SC is growing on me. Seems nearly identical to East Texas, except not so poor and depressing.
Scanning receipts for last week’s expenses. Woohoo. Break out the party beer.
Found a new favorite beer. Flying Dog Imperial Porter. @flyingdog
Sweet: Imagination Land. Perfect Sunday evening entertainment.
Ready for some real work this week. Done with all this boring pre-work. I should start cycling again too. Had a good dream about that.
My financial year
This year has been year of huge change for me. My financial situation is finally making a 180° turn (for the good). The year started off by reading Dave Ramsey’s The Total Money Makeover and attending his one-day conference in Dallas.
After finishing that book, I realized I couldn’t continue on without getting “gazalle” about getting out of debt. I went to emergency mode...

This is why I’ve been experimenting with avoiding products that contain High Fructose Corn Syrup.
Going to watch 24 hours of LeMons. Should be lots of fun. Will post photos later!
Drip coffee sucks. Why is it so prevalent?
“Larger crowd showed up in Berlin for Barack than the Superbowl.” What is this? Germans waving American flags?! Patriotic speech too!
Can’t decide if it’s me or the magazine, but Wired seems so boring and thin these days.
Wow, that was a long day. Getting ready for the full team next week!

I’ll be right back. I’m missing out on a historic offer on TV right now.
Realized while searching for nonexistent grocery store that iPhone 2.0 map updates location periodically automatically. Neat.
At braves game. Don’t really get it. Why do people still watch baseball?
Wondering if Georgia and South Carolina have any highway police. Been here a week and only seen one cop. Texas? I would have seen dozens.
24 Hours of LeMons - Going to go watch this spectacle next weekend!
Flying Saucer in Columbia is muy bueno. So is this old no 38 stout. Very chocolaty!
I love how moving lets you reinvent yourself. Too bad I’m no good at it. Also: I feel like I’ve won the lottery.
Friday! Off for a few hours in plant, then to Atlanta for weekend.
Anyone have any suggestions on how I can bike from Home to New Factory? http://bit.ly/39d7Fq
Maybe it’s just me… but setting up my stereo is Priority #1 when moving into a new place.
Has anyone wondered if things would be better off if Bush just spent the rest of his term at the ranch?
Ok, plastic covered beds? Really? Am I ten?
New apartment is quite nice and comfortable. Can’t wait for my car and stereo to show up.
Modest Mouse sound amazing on my new pair of Vibe Duo earbuds. Finally, I can block out CNN loop.
Everything done in Dallas! Glad to leave the heat. See you on the East Coast!
Last night in Dallas for awhile. Little sad.
The heat sucks all motivation out of me. Lying here reading seems to be a better plan. Even driving in my A/C’ed car seems miserable.
I’ve reduced my belongings to what could now fit in a dorm room. Seems a little cyclical.
My last weekend in Dallas! Doing lots of final move-out stuff and seeing friends. Should be fun!
Am I supposed to know who all these characters are in “The Thin Red Line”?
Hello, Dallas.
Sweet. Good being on the West Coast. iPhone 2.0 ready for download before I leave hotel!
iTunes seems more inappropriately named than ever.
